12 ABOUT BREA. Simple. Gorgeous. Luxu- riously comfortable. That’s BREA, the new lounge system by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby. It was born out of the designers’ belief that outdoor furniture should be de- veloped with the same attention to detail they give to their indoor designs. By redu- cing elements and eliminating complexi- ty, the duo were able to focus on quality, setting a new standard for outdoor uphols- tery. Though they look and feel permanent, BREA’s plush upholstered sections slip on and off the frame at a moment’s notice. In addition to superior comfort, the cushions boast a water-resistant inner layer with the highest water-column rating available. BREA is equally well suited for use indoors or out.
