Our headquarters? Lüneburg, Germany.

Our heart quarters? Cebu, Philippines.

DEDON first visited Cebu Island, Philippines, almost 30 years ago. We went in search of the world’s best weavers, but we found something more — a second home, an extended family, a culture of kindness, generosity and smiles. There’s no better place to experience this than at our zero-waste production facilities near Cebu City.

As hundreds of team members, many of them transported by DEDON’s own buses, gather on the basketball courts to sing, laugh, pray, exercise and create positive vibes, you’d never guess it was 7:40 on a Monday morning.

DEDON’s commitment to its team and the wider Cebu community is reflected in action. Free lunches (almost two million served). Free health insurance (and free doctor consultations for all employee dependents). An in-house gym with yoga, boxing and zumba classes.

A cooperative bank with favorable savings and loan plans. Financial support for employees who wish to enroll in advanced education in line with their fields. A DEDON Academy with free training programs, including a weaving course aimed mainly at unemployed, out-of-school youth. The list goes on, but the point is clear: This is family.
