Recently Milan played host to the 57th edition of the Salone de Mobile, the world’s largest and most influential furniture trade fair. With a serenely minimalist booth designed by GamFratesi, DEDON explored the theme ‘at home in nature’, while guests from around the world made themselves truly at home in Milan.

The DEDON booth provided the perfect setting for the mid-season launch of AIIR by GamFratesi, a contemporary shell chair for indoors and out. Our first collection to incorporate injection-molded seating, AIIR features tapered teak legs and a light and transparent design marked by vertical slits in the backrest. Already in delivery, AIIR will soon be available in leading furniture stores worldwide.
Visitors to the DEDON booth also enjoyed a preview of the BREA modular outdoor lounge system by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby. Exceptionally comfortable and endlessly configurable, BREA features upholstered sections that look and feel permanent but can be slipped off of backrests, side rests and seating at a moment’s notice.
Another highlight of the DEDON booth was Sebastian Herkner’s award-winning MBRACE collection, which showed off two exciting new color ways, Baltic and Sea Salt. The booth also offered a preview of CIRQL, our iconic new handwoven collection by Werner Aisslinger. In addition to appearing at the fair, CIRQL had its own exhibition space in town on the Via Durini.

DEDON would like to thank all of the designers who work with us and took time to visit the booth, including Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi, Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, Werner Aisslinger, Sebastian Herkner, Richard Frinier, Lorenza Bozzoli, Stephen Burks, and Jean-Marie Massaud.

And to everyone else who visited, a big thanks for your interest and enthusiastic response to the latest DEDON offerings!
