At Salone del Mobile 2026 in Milan, DEDON unveiled its 2027 collections within a setting that felt less like an exhibition and more like an all-encompassing experience.
Titled The Hours Between. Moments. Woven., the booth was a lush, resort-like environment where the day unfolded through filtered light, shifting shadow, and the softer warmth of evening. It was a poetic expression of outdoor living as DEDON understands it: layered, relaxed, and shaped equally by material and moment.
Designed by Daniel Pouzet, the architect behind DEDON’s iconic NESTREST collection, the booth brought the brand’s philosophy to life through material and atmosphere. Reflecting on his inspiration for NESTREST, Pouzet explains: “What I most like in the weaving is the transparency and the shadows, so when you see it from afar, it looks opaque, but when you are inside, it is full of light and beautiful shadows.”
The DEDON 2027 Presentation
Within this immersive space, new designs by Barber Osgerby, Sebastian Herkner, and Stephen Burks joined evolving chapters of the DEDON product range. Across the presentation, modular systems, new colorways, and refined details came together in a unified yet highly adaptable design language.
DEDON TRICOT collection
At the forefront was TRICOT, a modular lounge collection that expresses DEDON’s mastery of weaving through knitted textures. Its neutral, rattan-like colors, rounded edges, and intricate patterns introduce a heightened sense of natural tactility and visual depth. The collection captured shifting light and shadow across its woven surfaces and reinforced the emotional, sensory quality of the space.
Anchoring the lounge settings was MDEAR URBAN, introduced as a sculptural foundation for contemporary outdoor spaces. Made with ultra-high-performance concrete that’s smooth to the touch, the collection pieces include side tables, coffee tables, and planters, each offering exceptional durability with a refined, minimal character.

This material contrast was complemented by the evolution of MBRACE and MDEAR, presented in the new Macadamia colorway. The tone enhances the collections’ signature woven structures while creating harmony across materials, reflecting a quieter, more natural expression of luxury.
Comfort and ease were further explored through the new KIDA Porch cushions, a collection extension that began as a bespoke interpretation at the Venice Biennale. With layered, quilted cushions and a softer presence, this extension invites a more personal and expressive way of lounging.

DEDON’s playful spirit also emerged in THE OTHERS, now expanded with new colorways and integrated Smart Lumen technology. These sculptural lanterns brought personality and atmosphere to the space, combining expressive design with intelligent, cable-free lighting that adapts effortlessly to different moods.
DEDON SOLYD table and CALADIO chairs paired with RIBBONS carpet
Underfoot, RIBBONS introduced a new layer of texture. Handwoven in Italy from high-performance fibers, our new carpets offer both durability and visual intrigue, their flowing, ribbon-like patterns adding depth to outdoor settings.
Completing the scene was SHROOM ON, a compact, expressive table lamp that blends function with charm. Its organic mushroom silhouette and softly diffused light create an immediate sense of warmth, an approachable design that reflects DEDON’s innovative perspective on everyday outdoor objects.
The Future of Outdoor Living at DEDON
Our new collections extend beyond a series of introductions, with each piece carrying its own identity while contributing to a unified design language that defines impactful outdoor spaces. This cohesive approach came to life in DEDON’s immersive experience at Salone, reflecting our evolving vision of outdoor living that adapts seamlessly across residential and hospitality settings and remains driven by innovation.
